| HILTON HEAD, South Carolina (Reuters) - Top-ranked Martina Hingis of Switzerland
reached her fourth final of the year Saturday by defeating doubles partner
Jana Novotna of the Czech Republic in the $1.05 million Family Circle Cup.
Hingis topped Novotna, 6-2, 6-3 and will play the winner of Saturday's
second semifinal between sixth-seeded Patty Schnyder of Switzerland and
No. 7 Anna Kournikova of Russia.
